Generally used for low-speed and high torque transmission equipment, even ordinary reducers for electric motors will have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the desired reduction effect. The ratio of the number of teeth between the large and small gears is the transmission ratio. With the continuous development of the gearbox industry, more and more enterprises are using gearboxes.

Troubleshooting
During long-term operation, gearboxes often experience wear, leakage, and other malfunctions, with the main ones being:
1. The wear of the gearbox bearing chamber includes the wear of the housing bearing box, the inner hole bearing chamber of the housing, and the gearbox bearing chamber.
2. The gear shaft diameter of the reducer is worn, mainly on the shaft head, keyway, etc.
3. The bearing position of the gearbox transmission shaft is worn.
4. The joint surface of the reducer is leaking.
The traditional solution to the problem of wear and tear is to repair it by welding or machining after brushing, but both have certain drawbacks: the thermal stress generated by high temperature welding cannot be completely eliminated, which can easily cause material damage and lead to bending or fracture of components; However, electric brush plating is limited by the thickness of the coating and is prone to peeling off.

After the first 100 hours of use, the inner cavity should be cleaned and replaced with new gear oil, and the oil should be changed every 2000 hours thereafter.
When disassembling and assembling the gearbox, try to avoid hammering to prevent damage to normal components.
If oil leakage is found at the shaft extension or connection during use, the sealing components such as the skeleton oil seal should be replaced in a timely manner.
