Reducer is an important mechanical transmission device widely used in various industrial and civilian equipment. Its main function is to reduce input speed and increase output torque to meet the needs of different working machines. The structure of reducers is diverse, and according to different transmission principles and design characteristics, they can be divided into the following categories:

4. Cycloid pinwheel reducer: using the planetary transmission principle of cycloidal pinwheel meshing, it has the advantages of large transmission ratio, high efficiency, small size, and light weight.
5. Harmonic reducer: Utilizing the controllable elastic deformation of flexible components to transmit motion and power, it has the advantages of small size, high precision, and large load-bearing capacity. However, the flexible wheel has limited lifespan and is not resistant to impact.
The structure of a reducer mainly consists of transmission components (such as gears and worms), shafts, bearings, housings, and their accessories. The casing is the base of all components in the gearbox, used to support and fix the shaft components, ensure the correct relative position of the transmission components, and support the loads acting on the gearbox. The main function of bearings and shafts is to transmit power, operate, and improve efficiency.
When choosing a reducer, it is necessary to determine the appropriate type and specifications based on actual application conditions and requirements, such as transmission ratio, efficiency, accuracy, load-bearing capacity, working environment, and other factors. At the same time, maintenance and upkeep of the gearbox are also important factors in ensuring its long-term stable operation, such as regularly replacing lubricating oil, checking the oil level, and maintaining a clean appearance
