Selection and application of gearbox
Reducer: Match speed, decelerate to increase torque.
Control motor: inertia ratio, deceleration increases torque, suppresses resonance, accuracy, economy, space, connection method, self-locking.

The motor paired with a reducer can achieve small power to drive large loads.
Generally speaking, reducers can cause precision loss and power loss.
Gear reducer types: hard tooth surface straight teeth, helical teeth, bevel gears, turbine worm, planetary reducer, harmonic, pendulum, planetary pendulum.
Hard tooth surface reducer: coaxial, off-axis, vertical axis, low transmission accuracy, suitable for ordinary motors.
Single stage transmission ratio: below 10.
Output speed: The output speed of the gearbox.
Output torque: The coefficient of the output torque of the reducer is less than the maximum allowable torque.
Transmission ratio: The reduction ratio of a gearbox.
Machine model: reducer model.

Calculation of reduction ratio for worm gear reducer: number of turbine teeth/number of worm teeth. The single-stage reduction ratio is large, around 60. The larger the reduction ratio, the lower the efficiency, the lower the transmission accuracy, the frictional transmission, the heat generation, the good compactness of the structure, the high cost-effectiveness of procurement, self-locking, vertical working conditions, and high load impact.
Screw jacking machine; Ask the manufacturer. The lifting mechanism of the turbine worm screw has a large lifting force, self-locking properties, and low efficiency.
Planetary gear reducer: High precision reducer, directly connected to the motor, clamping type, coaxial reduction, right angle, in terms of accuracy, right angle will be lower.
Single stage up to 10, two-stage up to 64, the more stages there are, the worse the accuracy, generally suitable for servo motors, basically for motor bases

It is suitable for medium and heavy loads, often in forward and reverse directions, and is commonly used as a substitute for ordinary reducers.
Planetary Pendulum (RV): Upgraded version of cycloidal pinwheel reducer with stronger load-bearing capacity, high precision, small return clearance, large reduction ratio, compact structure, and high price.
