A harmonic reducer consists of a fixed internal toothed rigid wheel, a flexible wheel, and a wave generator that causes radial deformation of the flexible wheel. The harmonic reducer uses the flexible gear to generate controllable elastic deformation waves, causing relative misalignment between the teeth of the rigid wheel and the flexible wheel to transmit power and motion. When the wave generator rotates, the flexible wheel meshes with the rigid wheel in the long axis direction and separates in the short axis direction, achieving deceleration through continuous deformation. The reduction ratio is determined by the ratio of the number of rotations between the wave generator and the flexible wheel, and can usually reach 70-320 (single-stage)

A two-stage reduction method is used, consisting of a front stage planetary gear set, a rear stage cycloidal pinwheel set, and a crankshaft connecting the two stages. The first stage is reduced by planetary gears, and the input shaft drives the sun gear, which drives the planetary gear to rotate around the inner gear ring. The second stage is reduced by cycloidal pinwheel, and the eccentric motion of the crankshaft causes the cycloidal gear to mesh with the pinwheel, offsetting radial runout through phase difference and achieving secondary reduction.

A planetary carrier consisting of a sun gear, planet gears, a fixed outer gear ring gear, and a planetary gear planetary gear connecting the planet gears to revolve around the sun gear. The planet gears revolve around the sun gear and rotate on their own, dispersing the load through multi-stage gear meshing. The reduction ratio is determined by the gear ratio between the sun gear and the planet gears, and multi-stage series connection can improve the reduction ratio to 1500
