Control method of stepper motor
The control method of stepper motor adopts motor drive technology to control the stepper motor. There are many control methods for stepper motor, and the following mainly introduces the control mode from the driver control mode.

Control mode: The stepper motor can operate in various control modes such as pulse control, analog control, fieldbus control, program residency mode, etc. Stepper drivers support various types of control signals, including digital signals and analog signals, and support various industrial fieldbus network controls. Q-programming drivers can complete complex single axis motion control by executing stored programs.
2、 Pulse control
Pulse control is a traditional way of controlling the position and speed of stepper motors, where the rotation distance depends on the number of pulses and the speed depends on the pulse frequency.
2. The three common pulse control methods are pulse direction type, CW/CCW pulse type, and A/B orthogonal pulse type.
1) In the default case of pulse direction type, when the pulse input changes from high to low (falling edge) and the direction input is low level (or suspended), the motor rotates one step in the clockwise direction. By default, when the pulse input changes from high to low (falling edge) and the direction input is at a high level, the motor rotates one step counterclockwise.
2) By default, when the CW pulse input changes from high to low (falling edge) and the CCW pulse input is at a low level (or suspended), the motor rotates one step clockwise. By default, when the CCW pulse input transitions from high to low (falling edge) and the CW pulse input is at a low level (or suspended), the motor rotates one step counterclockwise.
3) The A/B orthogonal pulse type motor rotates based on the signal feedback from a dual channel incremental main encoder to the driver, and the direction is determined by which channel leads the other channel. When the motor is configured with input A leading input B, it rotates in the CW direction.
3、 The analog control step driver supports speed control and position control based on analog signals, and the step servo also supports torque mode based on analog signal control.
4、 The fieldbus controlled stepper driver supports various industrial fieldbuses including RS-485, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet, and EtherCAT.
5、 The program residency mode Q programming driver can complete complex single axis motion control by executing stored programs. Q-type drivers can store and run up to 744 Q-program instructions in non-volatile memory. Q programs can be created through Q Programmer software, providing rich functions such as multitasking, mathematical operations (based on analog and digital parameters), conditional processing, and data register operations. Q programming language is a simple text instruction.
